Oahu home sales in the $400,000 to $1,000,000 price range were the strongest and the months of remaining inventory in this price range remained at a normal 5 to 10 month level. The first time buyer tax credit and very low mortgage interest rates helped fuel the strong sales.

Just received some photos of us on the Beagle Channel from Brian and Ruth from Florida who we met on the cruise. It was a windy and cold trip but was worth it !

We went on a 14 day cruise in early February to Antarctica and South America aboard the Celebrity Infinity – and it was a cruise of a lifetime !  We started with 2 days in Buenos Aires (a beautiful city !) and cruised south to the Falkland Islands where we visited a King penguin colony (definitely a highlight !), then we sailed to the Antarctica Peninsula and did two days of scenic cruising at Elephant Island, the Gerlache Straight, and Paradise.  We were blessed with great weather.  We continued on to Ushuaia (Tierra del Fuego, Argentina), Puerto Madryn (Patagonia), Montevideo, Uruguay, and finally back to Buenos Aires.  Argentina is a beautiful and diverse country with friendly people, great food, and wonderful wine !
